Calling all chemists! Are you intrigued by the ooey, the gooey, the slimy and sticky? Or things that snap, fizz, and pop? Do you often ask, “I wonder what would happen if….?” Then, come to MOXI for a week of laboratory fun with messy mixtures, giant bubbles, glowing goo, and (carefully monitored) explosions.

Join us on a quest to help our favorite storybook characters. Dive into The Three Little Pigs as we construct houses out of hay, wood, and more to test their strength and figure out how to make each of them wolf-proof. Build bridges, tinker with Rube Goldberg machines, and get creative as we navigate new and exciting engineering challenges to bring each story to life.
Summer Camp: Swashbuckling Science

Ahoy Mateys! Set sail with MOXI as we delve into the wonderful world of pirates, mermaids, and more at our ocean-view classroom. Together we will explore balance as we walk the plank, build giant cardboard ships, and engineer sandcastles to withstand crashing waves. Put your navigation skills to the test in an epic scavenger hunt throughout the wharf to solve clues that point you to MOXI’s buried treasure!
This camp will be held offsite at the Veteran's Memorial Building.
